Restaurant Day is just around the corner and Project for Romania will be there with more traditional goodies!
Join us on a journey of rich flavors, subtle aromas and traditional cooking techniques, that deliciously combine culinary elements from different regions of Romania! Our rich history is ever-present in our food, our cuisine including Greek, Turkish, Saxon, Slavic and Magyar influences.
On May 16, experiment a piece of Romania:
1st course
– Transylvanian beef soup, served with home baked bread, 4€/serving
2nd course
– 3 ‘sarmale’ (sour cabbage rolls with meat stuffing) smothered in sour cream, served with polenta, 5€/serving
OR
– 3 veggie ‘sarmale’ (sour cabbage rolls with mushroom stuffing) smothered in sour cream, served with polenta, 5€/serving
Dessert
– puff pastry rolls filled with vanilla cream, 2€/serving
Full menu (1 serving of soup, 1 serving of ‘sarmale’, 1 serving of dessert) – 9€

Tule mukaamme aistit viettelevälle makumatkalle halki Romanian! Tutustu eri alueiden perinteisiin ruokiin, niiden täyteläisiin makuihin ja hienostuneisiin aromeihin. Historiamme on värikkäästi läsnä ruokakulttuurissamme ja siihen ovat nivoutuneet kreikkalaiset, turkkilaiset, saksilaiset, slaavilaiset ja unkarilaiset vaikutteet.

Dacă vă era dor de nişte sarmale gustoase cu mămăliguţă aburindă sau de o ciorbă ca la mama acasă, nu mai aveţi mult de aşteptat! Pe 16 Mai, va pregătim multe bunătăţi româneşti, gătite de membrii şi voluntarii noştri.
Suntem bucuroşi să vă prezentăm meniul final:
Felul 1
Ciorbă acră de văcuţă cu pâine de casă – 4€/porţie
Felul 2
3 sarmale tradiţionale cu smântână şi mămăliguţă – 5€/porţie
SAU
3 sarmale cu ciuperci, smântână şi mămăliguţă – 5€/porţie
